Wow, wadda summer so far!

Wow, its January and da nex' ting ya know, it's summer. Lotsa stuff ben goin' on but I ain't to sure I kin bemember it all. Gumper went to da lake for Memorial weekend an lef' me home. I had Skip over an' we ran up a $40.00 dollar pizza bill on Gumper's credit card. Ha, ha, ha, dat'l fix him for leave'n me home.

Den in July we went to da lake agin for da 4th. Notice how I said WE. He's a quick study, dat Gumper. I had a great time.

I had a teriffic time, even took a boat ride. I's a kaptan ya know. Member of da empowered squatron.

I din' get seesick not even oncst. An da sea air gives ya a great appytite. I musa ate a whole lofa bread for dinner.

One day we took a car ride in da Toaster. I don' know why dey call it dat since I din' find no bread in it, but we had a good time.

All in all, I like da lake an' am look'n ford' to goin' back 'round Laber Day. Maybe I'll git ta go out in da canu, whatever dat is.

Hokey-Mokey, it's two-tousan' an' nine. Aught-8 jes went zipp'n by.
So here I is, missed the las' super-saver to Costa Rica an' I is stuck in Mitchigun for da duration. Oh well, got heat, eats, da tube and a new innernut carrier. Wut more cuda boid ask for!
Oh yeah, got live innertainmint too. Gumper got a dog. Ackually, Mrs. Gumper got the dog, Gumper gets all da udder associated stuff. (Da bills) I jus' sit up on my poich and laff... as da pooch and da kit-kats go bes 2 outa 3 falls wit one-an-udder.
It's cold outside, if you ain't noticed. Don' go out if ya don' hafta.
Sunday I'm help'n Mrs. G. wit her Sunday Skool class. I get to do a skit wit one of da new carakters named "Sprout". Dey say he's green and is from Kal-i-forn-ya. After dat, maybe we can go to lunch a Panera. It's like heaven for boids....never saw so much and so many kindsa bread. MmmmmmmmMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Da wings an' da Cup

Well, it's been a while since I blog'd sumpt'n, like a whole year, but I'm back an I gotta start off wit congrats to da REDWINGS for bring'n da Stanley Cup back to Deeeetroit.
Dem guys are da bes'.....'specially dem Kronners from Sweden. Gotta luv dat Lidstum an Z-berg.
I flew down by da parade today an' even doe it was hotter'n H..E..double hockey sticks outside, da fans came out to give Babs and da boys da big huzza for da effort dey xzibited. Wadda team.

On a nudder note, purty soon my fren Jill is gonna make a run to be Miss Mitchigun. Right now she is Miss Saint Clair Shores, so all you boids gotta get behind her an' cheer her on like you did da Wings. When she wins in Mitchigun, she goes on to Miss America. Wouldn't it be great to have back to back Miss Americas too like da Wings did back in '96-'7-'8 wit da cup!

My Petanque buddy's jus set a Guiness record for play'n 48 hours straight. How nutz is dat.

Happy Easter

Well, da Palm Sunday weekend show at St. Paul’s wuz a big success and da kids had a great time hunt’n dem Easter eggs on Satiday.

Dere wuz lots o prizes and goodies dat got em all sugared-up and dey all went home happy and know’n how much Jesus luvs dem.

Da machine dat Lou C. Fer made is all tak’n apart so Skip an’ me won’t git in any more trouble. Keep an eye out for dat guy and don’ take anything from him, expecially fruit!

Me an Skip and da rest o da crew wanna tank everbody dat helped out an’ made it all a sooper-dooper weekend.

Good Friday wuz pretty special. Da evening soivice had a guest violin player. Dis guy was great!, and da choir sound all da better. Good job Miss Aneeta (‘scuse da spell’n)

Easter Sunday was a great celebration. He Is Risen!!!

Between choich services, da Men’s club guys made pannycakes for breakfast, wit wieners and all sorts o goodies, and soived dem up to everbody. When I found out dat pannycakes is actually bread, well, needless to say, I had a few too many and found it pretty hard to git air-born. Good ting I was able to hitch a ride home. Da guys all looked hansome in der little aperns and it was a great laff when da Pastor’s wife made dem all do a “Cook’s Parade”. Way ta go.

Besides all da stuff goin’ on at St. Paul’s, dere was a great hockey game for da ncaa champineship. Da Spartans from Mitchigun State wun it.

Go Green, Go White.

Wit da Red Wings in da nhl play-offs (gotta luv dem boids) da Gumper is in his element, and I ain’t talk’n ‘bout no car from Honda.

Mrs. Gumper ain’t gonna be able to pry us away from da t.v. till June.

St. Paul's Easter Egg Hunt & Puppet Show

Me an’ Skip an’ da rest o’ da Crew wanna tank all youse kids,
and growed-ups too, for comin’ to da last puppet show.

We all sure have fun bring’n youse the message of Jesus and the Good News, an’ know dat yous’re are all pay’n close attention.

We wanna take dis opertunity to r’mind youse dat da next show is gonna be on Saturday March 31^st at 10:00am and again on Palm Sunday, April 1^st at 9:30 am.

You can’t miss dis one, it’s a lolly-pa-loozer. Dere’s gonna be a Easter Egg hunt on Saturday too, an’ you all know wut fun dat is.
